"It is honestly the best thing I did"
I just wanted to share that I had my beautiful little rainbow baby girl Zoey Luna Dsouza this last December. She is now 3 months old.
I was a part of the Anti endo program last year and it is honestly the best thing I did. Its been a long and hard journey through endo and infertility but I owe not only all my physical but also mental strength to be able to get through this journey to this program. I had a lot of inner work to do before I joined the program and Im so happy with all the changes I made to my lifestyle and mindset. I conceived her through ivf, and was able to stay positive and keep going after multiple failed iuis, a transfer and a miscarriage.
Im so thankful and so in love with my little empress. Thankyou Khush and thankyou coaches..im forever grateful

"I was able to conceive naturally and gave birth to a healthy baby boy in Nov 2022"
Before I met Khush I always played the blame game, I was looking for an excuse or blaming other people for what I needed to change. She helped me realize only I, myself am capable of creating the life that I want. She asked me a question which put a lot into perspective, 'What would your perfect day look like?', and it was so simple. Since then I was able to have so many of my perfect days.
She helped me create awareness between nutrition and mood so that I could make the right choices. I loved how flexible she is when I fell off the wagon, and the encouragement she gave to me to get back on. I now look at life in a whole new way, change what you have the capability to change, and try not to stress over what you have no control over.
Since the AEL program, I joined the Empress program which helped to continue working on my health journey. The empress program gave me time to transition what I learned in the AEL program into a lifestyle change. While in the Empress Program, I was able to conceive naturally and gave birth to a healthy baby boy in Nov 2022. Since the program, I was also able to pursue my career goals and start my own business which I never thought would be possible before.

"On a scale of 1-10, my pain levels came down from 11 to a 5 or 6."
My experience with AEL was life changing! This was the second endo focus group that I participated in after giving up on conventional med as my primary resource.
In the group I was given an easy meal plan to follow complete with a grocery list. I appreciated this because it made grocery shopping almost a no brainer. I had my partner review the menu for the week to see what they were willing to eat with me and adjusted the shopping and meal prep accordingly. I verified that I didn’t have to eat everything suggested, for example, if I didn’t want a snack, I could skip it. I also learned what some good substitutes were for me and my home. Within the first month my symptoms started decreasing because my diet changed.
My favorite part of the program were the weekly group meetings. I learned and connected with other women who had similar life struggles that I had been fighting alone. It was such a relief to connect to other women. It was also a fantastic way to be held accountable. All of us were struggling together and all of us were succeeding together. It was truly beautiful!
AEL also went above and beyond with the journal prompts, movement suggestions and mindset activities, hormone testing and supplements. After changing my eating habits, I took the hormone test with the Dutch and was suggested supplements. I wasn’t immediately told to take a pill, I appreciate that!
My symptoms went from completely bed ridden due to severe cramping, restless legs, extreme body temperature fluctuations, PMS, breast tenderness to the point it hurt if they moved or were slightly touched, nausea, sometimes vomiting, anxiety & depression to slight pain. That was it, the only symptom I had was some pain. On a scale of 1-10, my pain levels came down from 11 to a 5 or 6.
Endo isn’t a linear situation; it's a life altering disease that affects our entire life. Over the years I’ve suggested AEL to other women in other endo FB groups because of my positive experience.
Thank you, Khush, for spear heading your program and pulling together such great resources to help us!

"I now have more time to focus on my dreams and was able to take care of my family during a challenging phase, which would have been impossible before the program."
Before the program, I was in pain for a significant chunk of the day, using 2-3 hot bags on my stomach, back, and legs, and would experience pain for the rest of the month after one week off. I used to take painkillers excessively, and also suffered from brain fog and severe fatigue. I had researched and tried various pain management approaches, including changing my diet from vegetarian to vegan, trying Ayurveda, and attempting yoga, but these were exhausting with minimal results. The pain stopped during my pregnancy but returned after my period restarted, increasing in intensity every month, which led me to try the program.
The detox phase helped me see a visible change, and surprisingly, my cravings were gone by the end of it. The weekly calls, the insights from Khush and the coaches, and the program's focus on mental health were also very helpful.
I started seeing reduced pain, fatigue, and brain fog starting from the second cycle after joining the AEL, and overall improvement was gradual, with progress despite ups and downs.
Since completing the program a little over 1.5 years ago, my quality of life has improved a lot; I am managing my pain much better and have an almost normal day, even on the first day of my period.
I now have more time to focus on my dreams and was able to take care of my family during a challenging phase, which would have been impossible before the program.

"I'm now pregnant after years of IVF!"
I noticed improved digestion right away, and my fatigue improved after a few months. So many wins: I now advocate and speak up for my needs, have greatly improved my mindset around my health and I'm now pregnant after years of IVF!

"Everything in the program helped. Everything harmoniously worked together. "
Thank you for thinking of me for this wonderful opportunity. I am forever grateful for my time in the AEL program.
Before the program I was on my fertility journey, I had a surgery, and was diagnosed with stage 2 of endo and pcos. I just knew I would get pregnant. When it didn't happen I knew I had to go deeper, the Dr's weren't enough. My intuition told me to #endometriosis and #pcos on ig. It was there I found Khush. I looked at all her post and read her story on her website, and was immediately hooked. It found hope and an answer. I saw that I suffered from a lot of the symptoms, foggy brain, constipation, acne, rough and wild periods. I hated my period they were so painful and scary looking. So so heavy. The endo belly was the main thing. The bloat never went away, it was literally a part of me. Painful sex, sore nipples and sleepless night along with night sweats. I was so in my feelings. 2 weeks a month I would be ok and then the next 2weeks were a nightmare. And the fertility journey is not for weaklings. Only warriors, real ones can handle that. I followed Khush for a year or 2. And applied all the things she would mention in her posts and lives. I tried to do my version of her challenges on my own, but ofcourse not successful. You need more then "grit" to see success. I did the classic "whack a mole". I would hear about a supplement, so I would buy it and stay on it for 3months, looking for that magic pill. This turned into a magic cocktail of pills. Half my paycheck was on supplements. I exercised and yoga like it was nobody's business. Plus my job was a headache.
Once my hairline started to go further and further back and my nails steady chipping, plus additional failed IUI's I knew I had to contact her. I felt like I was wasting my money, I had nothing to show for what I was putting in. And I was doing this alone, my circle of friends could not relate not even a lil. And when I would meet someone with the same dx it was still like I might as well be alone on this cause they also acted like they couldn't understand. I felt alone, like that meme where this cartoon dog is sitting at a table about to eat dinner and the whole room is on fire around him. I felt like my body was going to burst in flames any minute but I must act regular.
Everything in the program helped. Everything harmoniously worked together. I've tried to do the program on my own and I pick and choose the easy parts and I can't get the same results like I did while I was in. The 2 week detox was crazy therapeutic, along with the weekly check-ins, and the women were soo incredibly supportive even though there in it along with me with even worse symptoms. The mindset zoom calls with Meredith were so enlightening. After the 2 week detox I started to notice my body changing, weight was dropping, more like melting off, my blood pressure running lower, my sleep was better, sex was off the charts. I felt I could think clearer, I know longer needed a weighted blanket. I was like buzzing I felt so confident I went out and bought a while bikini and wore it all summer long. Everyday after that detox it was like a new piece of me was coming out.
I think I did the program in 2020. By the end of that year I was still buzzing high, I wasn't as strict with my diet but I was still reaping benefits for another year. By 22 certain symptoms started to come back but I would remind myself how in basically a month I transformed into a better me. My fertility journey became more difficult mentally and I enrolled in a separate program call Fearlessly Fertile. I feel the AEL program prep me for this program. The community and the high vibe successful women just push me over the edge.
I finally discovered my purpose which is to encourage black women with pcos!

"I am able to walk through life with less endo systems and daily pain. Never thought I would get to that point. "
I feel empowered. I know how to best support myself now to maintain feeling well with endo
I feel happier and have significantly less symptoms. I am able to walk through life with less endo systems and daily pain. Never thought I would get to that point.
I had lost my love for food because it made endo worse but now enjoy trying foods again. I now know how to do it in ways that support my endo.

"The investment was definitely worth it!"
Before the program, I was struggling with insomnia, fatigue, cravings, anxiety, pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, and acne. I also experienced weight gain (40lbs) due to stress and Visanne. The pain management approaches I tried that weren't working included surgery, Visanne, and a heating pad.
What really helped and stood out in the program was the nervous system support, the health and nutrition guidance, and the assistance with insomnia and stress. The program was particularly helpful in dealing with the stress of my divorce in addition to my Endometriosis.
Many of my symptoms improved in the first few months, with my weight seeming to fall off quickly. I really appreciated the extra support during a very difficult time in my life, and the team’s support of my health and wellness journey.
I finished the three-month program at the end of December 2022. Since completing it, my ovarian cysts have resolved. I feel calmer and am better equipped to deal with stress. I now have tools to reset whenever I get off track. I am also approaching one year of horseback riding and am surprised that it hasn't aggravated my symptoms. I feel more optimistic and patient now. The investment was definitely worth it!

"Honestly, I forget that I have endo."
Honestly, I never experienced any symptoms of endo before joining the program. I had a cyst that ruptured and had to go into surgery. It wasn’t until then that I was diagnosed with stage 4 endo. After finding out I had endo, I was very proactive and joined the program. I didn't have pain management approaches that weren't working because I wasn't symptomatic before the diagnosis.
When I was first doing my research on endo, I actually joined a different nutritionist program, but it only focused on nutrition. Then I came across Khush’s program. What I love about this program is that it isn’t just about nutrition; it focuses on mind, body, and soul. I left the other program and joined Khush's program right away.
My overall pain management after surgeries went away pretty quickly. Making the mindset change, diet change, castor oil packs, etc., really helped.
This program has changed my life. My doctor told me that my life would never be the same again, but I found hope by joining Khush’s program. I still do all of the things I learned, and honestly, I forget that I have endo. I’m living my life, and quite honestly, my life is better now than it was before I joined the program. Khush is a great inspiration all around, and I’m so grateful for this program.
